National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting
NICEIC provides assessment and certification services for contractors working across the building services sectors. NICEIC assess electricians, renewable energy installers, plumbers and gas and heating engineers.
To be an approved contractor, we must:
- Ensure work is carried out to the current edition of BS 7671; the IET Wiring Regulations
- Ensure certification is issued on completion of installation work, as directed by BS 7671
- Have up-to-date copies of BS 7671
- Have competence with test instruments as outlined by Part 6 (“Inspection and Testing”) of BS 7671; the IET Wiring Regulations
- Have public liability insurance of at least £2m.
Current UK EV Charge Points is an independent installer of electric car charging equipment. We cover Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London for the supply and installation of EV charging systems.

My Energi products have been proven to be one of the easiest to install eliminating the need for earth rods, providing install templates on our eco-packaging and having technical support available to guide you through any issues you may face.
Pod Point Installer Certificate
Pod Point are one of UK’s leading providers of electric vehicle charging. Since forming in 2009, they have manufactured and sold over 100,000 charging points across the UK and Norway. They’ve also developed an extensive public network connecting EV drivers with 4,400+ charging bays at locations including Tesco, Lidl and Center Parcs.
